Visibility radar diagnostics
When a visitor voluntarily launches a test of a public URL, SEOSEO stores the domain, analysed URL, public diagnostic, dates, number of analyses, interface language, source page, IP address and technical context available in the HTTP request or declared by the browser. This context may include the user agent, language and privacy preferences, Cloudflare proxy information, referrer without query parameters, platform, time zone, screen and viewport dimensions, display capabilities, touch support, declared processor and memory indicators, and approximate network characteristics. These data support security, anti-abuse controls, service operation and proportionate commercial follow-up. Cookie contents, precise geolocation and invasive fingerprinting signals such as canvas, fonts or audio are not collected. Records are restricted to authorised administrators and deleted after the configured retention period.
Form and security data
When a contact or audit form is sent, the notification email to SEOSEO includes your answers, consent and available security information: IP address and its source, the network address seen by the server, request reference, date and time, source and referring pages without query parameters, declared origin, browser, languages, operating system and mobile indication, and HTTP request context. When a Cloudflare network connection is recognised, this may also include a Cloudflare request identifier and an approximate country code. These data help answer your request, prevent abuse and diagnose delivery incidents. An IP address can represent a shared network, proxy or VPN and does not establish your identity. Cookies, passwords, authentication tokens and precise location are not included; this form does not collect a browser fingerprint.
Providers and recipients
Recipients are authorised SEOSEO staff and the providers required for hosting, Cloudflare Turnstile anti-abuse verification, and email delivery through WordPress, WP Mail SMTP and Brevo. Each provider may process technical data according to its role and contractual terms.
Consent and rights
You can review or change your preferences for optional cookies on the Cookies page. Subject to applicable Swiss law and, where relevant, the GDPR, a person may request information, correction, deletion, restriction or objection by contacting the published email address.
Purposes and legal grounds
Contact and audit data are processed to answer requests and take pre-contractual steps. Security logs, rate limiting and anti-abuse checks are based on the legitimate interest in protecting the service. Non-essential analytics or marketing rely on consent where required. Statutory duties may require limited processing or longer retention.
Retention, transfers and safeguards
Requests are normally deleted twelve months after the last exchange unless a contract, legal obligation, dispute or security incident requires longer retention. Hosting, Cloudflare and Brevo may involve service providers or support operations outside Switzerland; appropriate contractual and technical safeguards apply according to the provider and applicable law.
Your requests and supervisory authority
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability where applicable, or object to processing by writing to the published email address with the subject “Data protection”. Proportionate identity verification may be requested. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the competent EEA authority where the GDPR applies. SEOSEO does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.
